The City of Sterling Heights is embarking on a planning process to establish a clear direction for its future through the creation of a new Land Use Master Plan. This Master Plan will establish a long- term vision for land use and development within the City, based on the character of the community and market realities. Concurrently, the City will also be preparing a new Park, Recreation and Non-Motorized Master Plan, which will outline goals, strategies and recommended capital improvements for recreation and non-motorized facilities over the next 5 years.
In order to establish and achieve this vision, the City is seeking your input. An online mapping tool for the City has been established to allow you to share your thoughts and opinions while also interacting with the opinions of fellow citizens.
