Join us for our animal-themed Summer Reading Program, Tails and Tales! The program runs from Monday, June 7 to Saturday, August 7.
Prizes & Participation
Who can participate?
All ages can participate. This year’s program is divided into six distinct groups:
Each person can participate in only one age group.
How does it work?
There are reading goals for each week. Patrons can come into the library for a sheet to track their goals, or can track their goals through our online platform using the links below. Whether participating in-person or online, all goals must be submitted by August 14.
Click on each link that will become active the first day of the corresponding week to participate online. While you cannot skip ahead, you can always go back to previous weeks. All weeks must be submitted by August 14 to be entered into prize raffles.
The rewards of reading are endless, but we have added a few prizes as an extra incentive! There are different prizes for each age group. All winners will be notified via phone no later than August 21, and prizes must be picked up at the library.
There are raffles for gift cards for those that participate for any amount of time. Those that complete all nine weeks will be entered into an additional raffle to win grand prizes.
Those that complete all nine weeks in the Listeners, Readers, and Special Needs age groups will also earn a finisher's treat bag that they can pick-up at the Summer Reading Finale Party on August 28.
