The new cardio room at the Senior Center is up and ready to go! Sterling Heights Senior Center revamped one of their rooms by the walking track into a cardio room with versatile machines for those 50 years or older to enjoy.
The cardio room is designed to accompany any reason for use such as weight loss, physical therapy or simply maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Residents who would like to take advantage of the cardio room must report to the gym desk on the first floor to check out a key to the room. No street shoes are allowed so make sure to bring clean, indoor only athletic shoes! Lockers are available directly outside the room for personal storage.
Before using the cardio room for the first time, residents must attend a brief orientation. For more information, or to schedule your orientation, contact the Senior Center at 586-446-2750 or visit the Senior Center gym front desk.
If the weather outside is frightful, come on by to get your steps in! Our indoor walking track is available, no street shoes are allowed on the track.

Pickleball and Basketball
Our gym has space for two Pickleball courts, two badminton courts, two half-court basketball courts or one full size basketball court. There are several times during the week that one half of the gym is one game and one half is another. Schedules can be found in the Senior News.
We have basketballs, badminton and Pickleball supplies for players to use while they are at the Center.
