Cultural differences of Sterling Heights residents are detailed through a series of brochures produced by the City's Ethnic Advisory Committee entitled, Getting to Know Your Neighbor. These brochures are used to bridge the cultural gap between residents.
The brochures explain the religious beliefs, language, culture and history of particular ethnic groups. To date, brochures have been created for African-, Albanian-, Chaldean-, Filipino-, German-, Indian-, Italian-, and Polish-Americans.
All brochures may be obtained through the City's
Community Relations Department in City Hall or by calling 586-446-CITY (2489).
